The last time June and Lori visited me, I was still slightly bed ridden. Meaning, I wasn’t on wheelchair duties yet. I think I was just discharged from the hospital. June brought her infamous Chapchae (if you want to order let me know). She was picnic ready that she even brought plates and utensils as not to burden me with the clean up. Uh, June, that’s why I have yaya Helen and the rest to help clean up. That’s all we really do when we get together. EAT EAT EAT.
DH Momma’s? I call them my Desperate Housewives Mommas. One, they are all married, I’m not. We all have kids more or less the same age, and we all met through our kids in the village park. So that’s about 10 years worth of friendship. I learn a lot about how marriage is and the intricacies of husbands. Hahaha. Despite the age difference I have with them, it’s all the same. I may have even taught them a thing or two. About what? Hahahaha. There are 6 or 7 of us in the group. Another riot when the kids get together but always fun.
Today we had early lunch at Cafe Mary Grace in Greenbelt. After listening to what they were ordering, I decided to be a “good” girl. I only had the Mushroom Pate and Fried Kesong Puti & Calamansi Vinaigrette Salad. BUT for dessert had to be RICH. Initially, we were suppose to share 3 desserts. Didn’t happen. We devoured what was served to us in a flash. Burp. Excuse me. Coffee please. Thank you.
June had to go meet a friend and I agreed to be “kaladkarin” to Lori. After being stuck at home for months, I’d gladly accept an invitation to go out.
My son, had his own plans which I didn’t even know about until he called asking where the driver was. Haay. As long as I know where he is going, who he will be with, how he is going to and from, and to make sure he has his phone with him, I’m cool. I do miss him because he has his own world already. Hahaha. It’s rare that we have a picture together these days. I asked for one. Thanks to Photo Booth. Say CHEEEESE lovey.
